ABOUT US
YOUR GOODS ARE IN SAFE HANDS
Lord Taylor moves cargo between the United Kingdom and Nigeria by air and by sea. Seven receiving branches, published rates, and tracking on every shipment.
OUR MISSION
To move cargo between the United Kingdom and Nigeria at a price published before you pack, weighed with you, and trackable all the way home.
OUR VISION
A cargo company that families trust without asking, where every price is public, every parcel photographed, and nobody ever wonders where their goods have gone.
OUR PROMISE
Whatever you send, we will handle it as carefully as you packed it, price it openly, and get it there when we said we would.
WHAT WE CARRY
Most of it is not freight.
It is family.
A wedding outfit that has to arrive before Saturday. School books. Medicine. A mother’s cooking, dried and packed carefully. Building materials for a house going up slowly, one shipment at a time.
That is what most of our cargo actually is, and it is why we do the small things properly: we weigh every parcel with you at the counter, photograph it before it leaves, and give you a tracking link before you walk out of the door.
Weighed with you
Nobody guesses, and nothing is added that you did not see
Photographed before it leaves
Every shipment, at every branch
Published rates
The price on our wall is the price on your invoice
Trackable end to end
From booking to the moment it is collected
How we work
Weekly flights, fixed cut-offs
We fly once a week on each route. That is what keeps the per-kilo rate where it is, and it is why the cut-off time matters more than the day you arrive. Cargo that reaches Dagenham by Thursday 4pm travels that week. Cargo that arrives Friday waits.
From Nigeria, Surulere and Ijebu-Ode fly Monday, Lekki flies Wednesday, and Lagos cargo must be with us by Saturday 4pm.
CORE VALUES
Every rate we charge is published. Nobody is quoted a different number at the counter.
We weigh your cargo in front of you, and the figure we record is final.
Every shipment is photographed before it leaves us, so what you sent is what arrives.
We tell you the honest transit time, the honest cut-off, and the honest total cost.
Most of what we carry is not freight. It is somebody waiting back at home.
