Booking and payment

How do I book a shipment?Bring your cargo to any branch. Staff weigh it with you, you scan the QR code on the wall, and a short form opens on your own phone. Enter the weight and your price appears immediately. Pay by card and your invoice arrives by email before you leave.
Do I have to book online? No. Staff can create the booking for you at the counter. The QR code is simply the fastest way if you have your phone with you.
What is the handling fee?£20 flat on cargo leaving the United Kingdom. There is no handling fee on cargo sent from Nigeria to the UK.
Why is my chargeable weight higher than what the scale showed?Every shipment carries a pallet allowance — 2 kg on cargo up to 19 kg, rising to 10 kg above 51 kg. It is shown as a separate line before you pay, never added afterwards.
Can I pay in Naira?Yes. Cargo booked in Nigeria is priced and paid in Naira. Cargo booked in the United Kingdom is priced and paid in pounds.

Sending and cut-offs

When must my cargo arrive?Dagenham: Thursday 4pm. Lagos branches: Saturday 4pm. Anything arriving after the cut-off travels on the following week’s flight.
How long does delivery take?Air freight is 5–7 working days on most routes, and 5–10 from Ibadan. Sea freight is 5–7 weeks.
Do I need identification?Yes, in Lagos. A valid ID card is required from anyone dropping off a parcel.
Can I send food?Yes. Fish, dried meat, stock fish, crayfish, periwinkle, ponmo, beans, honey and egusi are all accepted, provided they are well dried — oven dried or air fryer dried. Minimum 10 kg on protein.
Can you collect from my house? From Lekki and Ikeja, yes. Collection and door-to-door delivery are priced separately from depot drop-off — both rates are on the rates page.

Tracking and delivery

How do I track my shipment?Enter your tracking number on the tracking page, or use the link in your receipt email. You will see which of the five stages your cargo has reached.
What do the statuses mean?Booked In means we have it and it is logged. Dispatched means it has left the branch. In Transit means it is on its way. Arrived at Depot means it is ready for collection. Collected means it is with the receiver.
What details do you need for the receiver?Full name, phone number and delivery address. We cannot complete a booking without them.
What happens if nobody collects the cargo? We will contact the receiver on the number given. Please make sure it is a number that is actually answered in Nigeria.

Restrictions

What can I not send?Cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol, perfume and sprays, flammable items, dry ice, fire extinguishers, life jackets, anything with an inbuilt battery, guns and gun powder, drugs, counterfeit goods, passports, jewellery, cash and pornographic material.
What if I am not sure about an item?Send us a photo on WhatsApp before you pack it. We would much rather answer a question than see a shipment held at customs.
Are fragile items accepted?Yes, but they require crating, which is priced on inspection. Liquids such as oils and skincare are also crated.
